This state of the art 5-string is an exact reproduction of the 1930's
Style 6 banjo from Gibson.
Hand-crafted with exquisite figured maple, the neck and resonator are an
absolute work of art, when trimmed with the checkerboard binding. This
binding is actually tiny pieces of wood, which are intricately placed in
a strip which is inlaid along the side of the fingerboard and the
resonator side walls. The hand engraved components, including the
1930's reproduction bell bronze tone ring, are deeply engraved with the
Bela Voce engraving pattern, which Gibson also used on their highest
quality models in the 1930's era. All of the metal components are gold
plated with 24 karat gold. The genuine ebony fingerboard is inlaid in
mother of pearl with a hearts & flowers Style 6 inlay pattern.
