the "Tennessee" Model Banjos.
The original "Tennessee" banjo was introduced in 1971 by Mark Taylor.
These extraordinary banjos provide the ultimate in design, along with
the strong, rich bass tones and the power up the neck which bluegrass
pickers desire, as well as an upper register clarity that pleases even the
most critical chromatic players.

Each includes the 1930's reproduction "Tennessee 20" Flathead Tone Ring

Crafters of Tennessee "Tradition" 5-String Banjo
This mahogany 5-string is a beautifully built banjo with a rich brown, high gloss lacquer finish. The fingerboard is of genuine ebony with genuine mother of pearl inlays. The Tennessee 20 hole tone bell brass tone ring is standard on this model, and produces a rich, full and well balanced tone, up and down the fingerboard. The string height can be set low for easy playability without sacrificing tone or volume. This is an excellent bluegrass banjo, with a beautiful mahogany sound. Fiddle Cut Peghead. Presto Tail Piece. Dual Coordinator Rods.

The Nickel Tennessee Flathead is the same banjo as the Gold plated/Engraved
model, but is nickel plated and the metal components are not engraved. Also,
the back of the resonator is a curly maple.

Tennessee Flathead Gold Deluxe
With Figured Maple Neck & Quilted Maple Resonator

The tonal quality & playability of the exquisite 5-string are striking as
the appearance. The neck is of a highly figured tiger striped maple, with
abalone inlaid the ebony fingerboard. Unique to this particular model, the
resonator back and side wall are of an exotic quilted maple. The tension
hoop, armrest, and tailpiece are are hand engraved with a tasteful and
unusual engraving pattern. All metal components are gold plated with 24
carat gold. This banjo has a deep, warm, rich tone with power to spare.
