The Goodtime banjo has a blonde rock maple neck, all geared tuners, a multi-ply birch and rock maple rim, an adjustable tailpiece, single coordinator rod and a top frosted head. It uses an 11" high crown head like all Deering banjos and is made in the U.S.A. The simple design makes tune-ups and adjustments very user friendly. The neck is a slender, low profile and fits most hands beautifully.
