Deering Goodtime Special Banjo

Based upon the same basic construction as the Goodtime #2, this model includes the addition of a powerful steel tone ring, which adds a crisp, clear tone quality with volume to spare. This banjo is excellent for the 3-finger style of playing, as the resonator helps to project the sound out front, and the tone ring adds a powerful bluegrass quality to the overall effect. The Goodtime banjo has a blonde rock maple neck, all geared tuners, a multi-ply birch and rock maple rim, an adjustable tailpiece, single coordinator rod and a top frosted head. It uses an 11" high crown head like all Deering banjos and is made in the U.S.A. The simple design makes tune-ups and adjustments very user friendly. The neck is a slender, low profile and fits most hands beautifully. It's tone is bright and crisp and has a growing reputation of sounding far better than banjos costing up to five times the price. 1 year limited warranty
