The Drum Dial reads the head tension when you sit it on top of the head, in any area of the head. Simply sit it on the head and read the tension. - The Drum-Torque Wrench is used to adjust the head tension evenly for the best sound. It is used with the T-wrench to adjust the tension on each hook. Both items help you easily & accurately maintain the head at the chosen tension for the best tone & playability.

For Banjo Heads Standard Heads: •High crown= 1/2" - Medium crown =7/16" - Low crown = 3/8". •High crown is normally used for flat head tone rings. •Low is for arch top tone rings (raised in middle). •Medium usually works for either flathead or archtop.	*How to choose the right size banjo head.* (click)
