In the hay day of classic bluegrass music, there were several bluegrass singers who piled their trade in styles unheard today. FRANK “HYLO” BROWN is one of the best know of the smooth, ballad-singing bluegrass singers. His mellow voice and relaxed style earned him the “Bluegrass Balladeer” title in the early 60’s, nd his high falsetto earned him the “HYLO” nick name.
