Just a quick note regarding Mike Smith's Kat Eyz capos.
I've been using his guitar capos for about 8 months now. Recorded our
last album with one. I worked with him to get the dimensions "just
right" for vintage neck profiles.
He said that you were going to start carrying them. I wanted you to
know that I think they are really good - and I've owned and tried
everything out there. I really like their slim profile, and find that
now, even a McKinney feels too large, compared to a Kat Eyz. Although I
have purchased numerous capos from Mike (for my numerous guitars), I
have been using the same capo for my main stage guitar and, in spite of
its svelte size, it has held up just fine to the rigors of bluegrass -
night in and night out.
